Meet Dan
Director and Support Coordinator
With over 19 years of hands-on experience in the disability sector, Dan is the backbone of Buddy Assist. His journey started in 2006 as a support worker, and since then, he’s managed everything from supported independent living to respite houses, always with a focus on creating sustainable, support environments for individuals and families.
Dan has worn many hats – from managing portfolios of 50 group homes, to Work Health & Safety, and Quality & Safeguarding. He thrives on problem-solving and cutting through the complexities of the NDIS to help clients achieve their goals. Whether it’s hospital discharge planning, setting up supported independent living, or aligning cross-disciplinary teams, Dan’s knack for seeing the bigger picture ensures every piece of the puzzle fits just right.
More than just an expert, Dan is a people person at heart. He’s passionate about hearing your story and understanding your journey – what makes you tick, your challenges, and where you want to go. His personal connection to the disability sector drives his commitment to providing clear, relatable support that genuinely makes a difference.
